The Department of Homeland Security

The Department of Homeland Security "If you see something, say something" campaign wanted a new approach to their antiterrorism messaging.  Previously their strategy was to show threatening situations that may arise in order to get the public to pay attention to their surroundings. I wanted to take a softer tone to this complicated message by appealing to the strong sense of community in american culture. What resulted was a PSA and print campaign that out performed all their past efforts many times over.
The Department of Homeland Security wanted to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with some form of  infographic. I came up with the concept of creating an infographic that portrays what they do every day in order to keep the United States safe. After going through hundreds of different statistics we created a story that best shows how DHS is effecting out everyday lives.
