I begun this project with many thumbnails.
After deciding on what subject to use. I started moving forward using a photo of my hands.
I practiced many times to perfect the shape and size of my hands. I used regular multimedia paper and black ink.
At this stage I begun to add the background details in. After realizing a detailed background might take away from my hands, I went forward softening those details and adding more to my hands to make them stand out.
Looking back the biggest challenge was learning to draw while trying to complete such a big piece. Next time I would give myself more time to practice new techniques.
