One of my closest friends Tess goes to school in Upstate New York and during the beginning of the fall season, I decided to make a trip up to see her. Not only did we end up doing just about every fall activity (apple picking, pumpkin carving, cinnamon flavored pumpkin seeds, etc.) in the first official weekend of the season, but we ended up having a wonderful day in the mountains of Lake Minnewaska. 10 miles, 2,000 ft. elevation, yummy blondie snacks and existential thinking left our hearts happy and camera storage full.
