Cork pads
I made longboard pads using a material I really like, cork. This material is perfect for an outdoor use and is really resistant to impacts. I used four 0.6mm thick sheets of cork that I glued together to make a ~2mm thick 15,8*22,8mm sheet.
I then cut the sheet into 9 53*74mm pads. I chose to keep the inner part of the pad to make it more impact resistant and to make it last longer. The hole were then drilled and the pads varnished to make them even more resistant (pictures before/after varnishing).
They will soon be used on my new freestyle deck, stay tuned!
