My Language is Arabic

I chose to portray the general concept of identity and in particular, expressing myself as an Arab in this society. The necklace consists of Arabic calligraphy– لغتي عربية –which translates to “My Language is Arabic.” I painted the letters in a traditional black, and used pearls as accents for the letters, to bring an element of elegance to the necklace.
