The kinematic to open and to close the lamp is self-designed. A capacitive proximity switch lets you switch the light on/off/dim by just a soft touch on the surface of the base. The inside of the screen is coated with copper foil, which spreads the light and improves the atmosphere with warm colors.

The drawer in the base can be used to store pens, business cards and much more.
I designed the lamp to be unnoticeable as a lamp in its closed form. The surprise comes while opening the lamp up to the top and then switching it on with a simple touch.
