These works can trace its beginnings to my enthusiasm for celestial space and interplanetary exploration. From the readings of Frank Herbert and Isaac Asimov to the films of 2001 and Interstellar, what lies beyond our planet has been a continuous source of inspiration and investigation in many of my projects. The forms and compositions in this series presents the audience with views of electrostatic and gravitational interactions to produce a differentiated interior. This series is also an examination of contrasts – the unexpected interplay of vastness and emptiness within celestial space; a large form from far and minute details up close.
