Proctor Auto Body was in need of “Save the Date” flyers for their upcoming car show. The client wanted to have a 1950 Mercury and a color scheme of red and black. The content for the flyer needed to have a sense of hierarchy for specific words such as what the event was and the date.
I came up with the idea of making a vector graphic, which is a scalable image and cleaner than a raster image, of the 1950 Mercury. Combining this image with an appropriate typeface and ornamental elements inspired the look of a flyer from the 1950’s.
