Words tend to be inadequate

The text found here was taken from graffiti in bathrooms and on benches, or from writing on chalkboards of empty classrooms. Posters meant to raise awareness of local crisis or events are appropriated as the recycled backdrop for the page of the first book.
The second book is completely appropriated from the wilderness of Athens. Deer hide is used to create the framework, where found objects such as plants, stones, wasp hives, bark, etcetera are used as the vehicle of the message in lieu of text. Printed with ink made from walnuts, the message is left to interpretation, but uninhibited by common forms of communication.
