The idea is to represent the diversity that resides in McLeod Gang, the diverse subcultures ranging from hippie to punk, and most importantly the burst of colour that McLeod Gang is with bright colours being seen on every corner of the street and to represent all this through working styles of Gareth Pugh and Alexander McQueen.
I chose to use theatricality and movement as elements from their work to work with.

Some of Gareth Pugh’s work involved radial balance and the use of Rorschach. Alexander McQueen’s work always has theatricality and movement.
I created Rorschach using inks on paper and then scanned them. I used layering and translucency to create radial balance, like in the second picture and also a sense of movement.
The roscharchs symbolize a harmonious blend of colour and also movement as the colour on the paper moves on it’s own while its being created.

The following are the initial artworks/ Rorschachs I created, which I later scanned to develop prints.
Following are the various prints that I developed to be printed onto a unisex t shirt.
Following are the print placements that I tried.

Print Placement:
I experimented a lot with print placement but finally came onto a full-scale print for the whole t-shirt.

Print techniques:
The graphics created are multimedia i.e. a combination of ink on paper and Photoshop editing.
Screen Printing will be used to impose these onto the t-shirts.

The final T shirt:
The back was kept plain.
This was the portfolio that was given to college.
