Logo/Identity for Village of Maple Bluff

Harms Creative was challenged with the task of updating the identity for the Village of Maple Bluff. Communities are often misrepresented or inconsistently represented by multiple logos and typefaces, and Maple Bluff is no different. The existing signage is decades old, and with the Village's recent and near-future annexing of neighboring blocks that include retail/commercial space, identity will become increasingly important.

The new logo features a clean and uncluttered look: a new take on the iconic maple leaf and an architectural typeface, which together help bridge the past identity to the future.

Implementation of the new identity will be gradual based on need and budgets. First up: the Village is in the process of acquiring a new fire truck from Pierce Manufacturing, so the new decals will feature the newly created maple leaf icon. Stationery and signage will soon follow.
