Duplex is based on a modern reading of the myth "Narcisse & Echo" from the book of Ovide "Les métamorphoses".
Our interest has focused on issues relating to the representation, picture, reflecting, but also on transmission, message, knowledge through the language.
This new approach connected the work of MC Zago and My Name is Wendy.
This installation art is comprised of three separate parts :
- 6 drawings representing historical objects that transmit 3 sorts of information : true, illusion or ideal.
- 12 structures or sculptures that broadcast 12 texts recorded.
- 2 compositions (painting and digital picture)
