Abby and Luke wanted their wedding invitations to be something simple and elegant that still showed their personalities. They wanted to integrate colours from the beach. The Blues were chosen as they were the main colour for the wedding.

The illustration on the back of the invitations represents how Luke grew up. He came from a farm, hence the barbed wire.

A simple map illustration was asked for to show the guests how to get to the reception.

The Bride and Groom also wanted the illustrations to carry over into the reception. The birds and barbed wire were placed on the table numbers. On the seating chart the Birds were also there along with the decorative line that was placed under the birds. This line was used to group together the table numbers and their patrons.
