Animated Shorts (October 2014-March 2016)

This contains all of my animations that I have properly finished in chronological order, and for an added bonus I have included a brief description on how I made these films.

Please Enjoy :).
The Man that I've Killed
(An animated adaptation of the chapter of the same name from Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried)
Originally Released in October 2014
This was my first experience in animation, and I personally didn't like this one very much. Back in my English III class back in 10th grade, we had a project where we had to do something "artistic" that is from the book The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien in about 2 weeks, and I had the bright idea to make animation in that short amount of time with very little experience. And to make matters worse, marching band was eating up all of my time, and my computer was absolutely horrible, so I shouldn't be that surprised that it turned out this way. But it was my first animation, so I just shrugged it off and moved on.
Flight
(An original story inspired by Shadow of the Colossus
Originally Released in April 2015
After I first played Shadow of the Colossus, I wanted to create an animation that resembled the feeling of flight that was from the 5th colossus. My school's talent show was coming up, so I decided to jump right into this animation without a storyboard. Suffice to say, that was one of the worst mistakes I have made, and you can easily tell by how lackluster the story is. But on the bright side, the animation was much better and I had help from my good friend Ian Sovine with some of the sound effects as well as music.
Thief
(An animated short based on music)
Originally Released in March 2016
Back when I was in middle school, there was an article relating to how iPhones were stolen in crowded cities, with many people whining about it. Being a cynical kid, I came up with a concept making fun of the article and planned it as in animation. However, I didn't have the skill required to bring it to life until 11th grade where my art teacher allowed me to focus on this animation for the talent show. And although I almost failed the rest of my classes, and left in some glaring mistakes, I was proud I was able to get it done given the circumstances.
