Children of Ladakh

LADAKH
Never Seen a mountain so big, a sky so blue, grass so beautiful and wind so silent.
So simple are the toys here, so easily the playful happiness can be achieved. Village near Tsomoriri Lake, Ladakh.

A monastry child drank his medicine his teacher gave him to recover from his cough and cold. They live, study and learn the daily chores of life in the monsatry. Thiksey Monastry, Leh.

A child oblivious to me. Taking food outside in the open from the boring inside i think. Turtuk,Leh.

I regret not going inside this house and not talking to these kids... as everything about them was charming to me...their curiosity was the most innocent. Turtuk,Leh.

They go to their school, and play in the afternoon and then they went to collect fodder in the evening. So hardworking and generous too, as they shared their sweet pea with me, which they collected in the field along with the fodder. Turtuk,Leh.

She took her time to look at me with the smile..she adjusted her scarf as i was trying to capture her.Turtuk,Leh.
A Stranger Passing  by. Turtuk,Leh.
Kid laughing and looking from their room's window as i try to capture glimpse of their never ending curiosity. Thiksey Monsatry,Leh.
