Tasked with bringing the brand and visual identity of REANNZ to life with great design and storytelling. My first key touchpoint was the 2013 Annual Report. REANNZ (Research and Education Advanced Network New Zealand Ltd) owns, operates and enhances New Zealand’s advanced network – providing high capacity, high-speed broadband connectivity between research, education and innovation organisations throughout both nationally and internationally.

Challenged with shifting the perception of this brand from a straight utility supplier, to an integral business partner, I looked to tell the stories of the successes and milestones in the annual report. With an exciting re-invigorated visual identity system, the report delivers the stories with a renewed vibrancy and modernity that stimulates the awareness and engagement of REANNZ’s customers perceptions.
