Vintage design is a huge inspiration to me. Part of me feels we just don't manufacture to the same quality that we once did. Petrol globes of yesteryear were a common sight back in the 40s, 50s & 60s, however these beautiful glass sculptures have now disappeared from our roads and highways, on a mainstream scale.
A glass sculpture it ain't, but The Globe pays homage to one of my favourite petrol branding tools.
Using yellow gloss acrylic to achieve a bold, shiny finish, this Munny will give you a hand topping up your car with his own little pump. Not to mention light up the night sky on those long, lonely journeys home.
