At its heart Chameleon Skyline was meant to be an allegory for life. The journey of the main character takes him through places both familiar and unfamiliar, relying often times on a collection of knowledge that is taken as truth only because that is what he has always known. I wanted to keep the story clear and simple while also leaving unanswered questions that the reader could interpret for themselves. The nature of the Light Gate, which appears in multiple lands, is one such question.
