After I created a two point perspective drawing using the plans of a house from the film 'Sleepy Hollow' with Johnny Depp I scanned my drawing to create a digital visual on Photoshop.
I started off adding realistic textures to the house by finding similar images on google and merging them into the different sections. For this initial stage I didn't include any shadows on the building and focused on getting each individual texture and colour on the building correct.
Then I added a background that worked with the style of the film and helped create an atmosphere behind the house. Having the visual set at night gives the image and immediately creepy feel whilst adding images like silhouetted tree's, birds in flight and grave stones also adds to the effect.
