Embedded inside the drawing are ancient symbols such the Peacock feather, Ankh, Eyes, Infinity, breasts and pearls. All of these objects are organic in essence and metaphorically are associated to its spiritual significance to fertilitiy and the eternal cycle of Life and Death.

Using a meditative action of continuous line drawing my process of combining symbols captures the inherent quality of creation. As I create, I become entranced in this motion with my hand and have found that it is something within me that propells these fluid marks.

Connecting myself to Nature as a woman for my biological abilitiy to give life, I chose elemental colors such as yellow, orange and variations of green and blue to further connect my mark making to Nature's
creative patterning. 

Drawing inspiration from structures,colors and formal attributes found in Nature and ancient symbols  I look to recreate the experience of being left in AWE from Nature's magnificance.
