Taskly Design Process

Competitor analysis was carried out, breaking down each competitors’profile. This determined Taskly’s potential customers and the needs that are unmet by current competitors.
A proposal for a  minimal visable product was created to help determine, if Taskly was being built to solve real problems and validate essential features.
The Lean Canvas was used to identify, problems Taskly could solve, solutions, key metrics and an actionable plan.
After carrying out user testing, through surveys and interviews, user personas were created. The personas were developed from insights gained in user reseach.Taskly’s features and functionality were then developed around the needs of its target customers.
A customer experience map was created for one of Taskly’s user personas, communicating an individual customer’s needs, the series of interactions a customer completes to fulfill those needs on Taskly, and the resulting emotional state the customer experiences throughout the process.
The site map was created as a tachnical and visual articulation of Taskly.
To articualte the visual design of Taskly, wireframes were sketched then iterated upon, to improve approach.
The next stage was to create digital wireframes, with responsive layouts and articulate the user journey throughout Taskly.
The style guide was created as a reference to ensure consistencey in the design of Taskly.
User testing was used to indicate the strengths and weaknesses of Taskly’s designs. This allowed for data driven decisions to be made for Taskly’s design.
