Naga Sadhus
Naga Sadhus (meaning 'nude monks or holy men') wander Himalays and come down to the plains during Kumbh Mela (celebration of rivers) every 12 years. They smear ash from burnt dead bodies on their bodies. These folks can be gruff, uncouth, aggressive and armed instilling fear and reverence and getting right of the way wherever they are. Here are the images of such men who are visiting Ujjain (now in April 2016) in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
