“Revolution” is a satirical title for a digital self-portrait in which I am portrayed as a reminiscent of what a World War II propaganda poster character would appear as. I, however, in contrast aim to objectify one’s creativity; in the connection one might have with being alive and the ability to surpass the physical constraints bound to a human mind. As depicted by the trees emanating from my forehead can see no limit of height, as trees when rustled by the winds, ‘reciprocate’ with a swayed song of nature, as trees can embroider life with a single seed and, as trees can branch out and eloquently caress anything in their path, so can the impulsive, untamable mind.  Vibrant and passionate colors with the flavour of the renaissance, interlayering opposites and, finally, transversely corroding rationalities. Vanishing brush stroke techniques and an old canvas appeal in order to convey the impression that not only creativity is timeless, but also that it cannot be physically grasped, it is permanent and it is temporary. It is ever lasting and it is transient. Captured with a Nikon D5100 and edited with Adobe Photoshop CC, the post-production was carried out within two days.
