so, a friend of mine wanted me to do a "avatar" design for a friend of his

first i made some quick sketches on pencil, until i got the shape and proportions i wanted..

 

once i got the face and the hands holding the PS controller i outlined it with some liner.

 

i was preety happy with the design so far, i took some pictures and uploaded to my pc, then i went to illustrator cs6 and start re-draw. these images are from way to advanced, i had trouble at first, it´s been a while since i use this tool.

 

long story short, this is the end result, i had a copule of versions of it but this is the best one, so.. let me know your opinions and all feedback is welcome.
