This interior design orchestrates a contemplative experience where thoughtful observation, reflection and meditation is fostered in two spaces by the deliberate placement of the space-defining elements.  The roof lines give each area a sense of closure through the interplay of light with shadow.  This design is constructed in basswood and uses a kit of parts includng two shallow reflecting pools, eight columns, five walls, a bench and two sets of stairs to achieve the experience.
