The Brief
London’s V&A is not only the world's greatest museum of art and design but is a global brand which continues to be an inspiration to a variety of international audiences. In conjunction with sponsored exhibits the museum houses a constant display of collections which hold over 200,000 objects and works of art. There are literally thousands of reasons to pay the museum a visit. A series of collateral was commissioned to encourage and ensure that first-time visitors don't miss some great pieces and to remind V&A devotees what makes the museum so special.

The Result
My strategy involved taking exhibits, no matter how old, and breathing live into them by creating a series of intriguing, dynamic and contemporary images. Each chosen exhibit was positioned on a background with some relevance and similar in colour along with a descriptive word to create a series of striking visuals. These were then cut and pasted together to create an image strip which adds colour and intrigue to the collateral for The Collections. The campaign was a success, visitor numbers and memberships increased with the V&A attracting more diverse visitors.
