The Yesteryear Marble Set is a toy packaging set based on the concept of nostalgia. Marbles are a toy that has been around
for ages so they are really connected to a nostalgic feel. In today’s world full of technology, the Yesteryear Marble set
intends to attract parents to buy them and introduce their kids to classic toys.
Vintage photos and textures were used to coincide with the nostalgia. The decorative icons and the slab-serif typeface are
reminiscent of an early 20th-century American art style. The boxes are rounded to resemble vintage film reel cases which
were commonly seen during the early 20th century. This also allowed the packages to be interactive as viewers can pick
them up and roll the marble around. The windows of the packages are designed to resemble a museum with the marble on
display to make the marbles more unique and important.
