Re-Zoning and Redevelopment of Arlington
With the addition of a Mass Transit System to improve Sustainability
This was a project I completed in graduate school in the spring of 2011. The goal was to redevelop a section of Arlington close to the university campus to revitalize and improve it while also incorporating in a mass transit system because of U.T.A.'s high student commuter rate. We began with two zones originally (A and B) and narrowed it down to B, then began to get into more detail. Overall, this was an interesting project and the studio in general taught me a lot about city planning and zoning.
