As a student project we had to create an 44 brochure promoting a region of New Zealand. I chose Auckland, and since it is one of the largest cities in New Zealand I decided to concentrate on places my target audience could relax. I chose to create an interesting fold for the brochure, and ended up with one consisting of many triangular shapes because of this. I also decided to limit the colour palette and choose soft colours, to reflect the mood I wanted to set. Because of this I used mostly greyscale images and added a cool blue-green colour to brighten it. I tried to use a lot of white space and make it simple to follow. I also wanted to include a lot of large images as to me seeing a place is better than reading about it.
