Full scale model, 1" = 1' - 0", built from bolsa wood and other model materials to create an Alaskan inspired log cabin that could easily be placed into their cold and rugged landscape.  The foundation of the model is pier-and-beam in order to keep the log cabin off the ground and away from moisture issues, while the interior of the cabin is made to represent the abundance of wood techniques used as well as the warm interior decorations to add to that comfortable, rustic feeling.
