Inspired by natural elements from our environment, this fruit tray bears close resemblance to a blooming lotus. The 45 degrees bend of the 6 pointed-ends serves to exude a sense of dynamism while the cone-shaped base complements the triangular ends of the pointed tips. The combination of Chengal wood and plywood is used on intent to show how natural and processed wood could come together harmoniously in a design.

The process of making involves wood selection, laminating, laser cutting, mould making, wood bending, wood turning, oiling and waxing.
