Saint Theresa's Church
Nungambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
This is a proposal to replace the existing church of Saint Theresa at Nungambakkam, Chennai. This proposal will suffice the need for parking space for the visitors of the church by placing the whole church above the stilt level containing parking space.
The new proposal is rich in traditional detail as well as equips modern technology. The church complex also has a community hall and a water court for the community use.
The entrance is glorified by a circular plaza, large enough for effective crowd management. A small landscape buffer of pine trees has been proposed to buffer the noise pollution arising out of the nungambakkam high road.
