STORY
Bella and her daughter Lisa met an accident on their way to her grandmother’s place. The car Bella was driving hit a truck that was running out of control. Fortunately Bella and Lisa escaped unharmed but they were not able to escape the heinous plans of the mysterious person lurking in the woods. Bella was hit behind her head and was left unconscious. The last thing she saw was her daughter being carried away by the mysterious man. Lisa’s scream for help echoed through her ears before everything else turned black.
When Bella got her senses back, she was already inside an abandoned house with no way to escape. As she walked around, she saw newspaper clippings of children around Lisa’s age who had gone missing and were never found. With her instincts saying that Lisa is closeby and is in danger, she must explore the house and unravel the mystery behind it in order to find and save her kidnapped daughter.
Play as Bella and unravel the mystery behind a mysterious house in this first-person 3D Mystery Horror game. Explore your surroundings, interact with objects, and solve puzzles in order to find and save your kidnapped daughter.
APART is set on a Victorian household owned by the Verga Family. It consists of two floors and several rooms such as the living room, the girl's (Elizabeth's) bedroom, and the family room.
The player can interact with objects such as items, doors, and drawers through mouse click and mouse drag (left/right to open/close doors, upward/downward to open/close drawers, etc.)
The game also features an inventory where items looted, clues collected, and diaries found by the player are stored.
In order to progress, the player must solve puzzles and make use of the picture frames - a medium for travelling between the past and the present.

APART won as the Best CAPSTN1 in DLS-CSB's First Trimester Incendium 2015-2016. The game was also exhibited during the E-Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2015 at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde booth. It is also a nominee for the GameOn! Challenge Game Art Category.
