When Bådin Brewery released a series of dark beers; a brown ale, a stout and a black IPA, they all got names associated with specific periods and areas that many locals have memories of, paying homage to the time when the founders of the brewery grew up. (The back label of each bottle tells the full story behind the name). Based on this we gave the labels colours and typography that would reflect the stories, and in the product photos, we added props that act as visual clues and references to the same stories.
