This is a pretend scenarios where a goth band hired me as a designer to design their poster for a up coming show. They handed me an example of what they want in the poster and I will recreate it without changing their design. Since we learn a few things this week I decided to play around with the clipping mask, compound mask and gradient mesh. I enjoyed doing this poster, it was a lot of fun but took a lot of time. Since it was a Goth kind of band I research symbols and read on what kind of things they are into. I also looked into their style of fonts they commonly used. I wanted my poster to be evil and dark like a cult because that I how I envision my poster. The only negative I have for myself is the table. I just don’t like it because I don’t know how to make it more realistic without the help of photoshop. Unfortunately we are not allow to use photoshop effect.
