We met at Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park. This is somewhere I had never shot at but had wanted to for ages, so when they suggested it I leapt at the chance. It really is a very special place in the middle of the park, a little oasis of peace and quiet with secret paths and pretty landscaped areas. Karina and John were both a little nervous about the shoot, finding the idea of being photographed a daunting prospect. This is exactly the reason why an engagement pre wedding shoot works so well. It gives the opportunity to get accustomed to having photos taken and allows the nerves to be expelled well before the big day. By the end of the shoot they were both much more relaxed and comfortable, and enjoyed the whole experience. I think Karina especially loved it because she got to spend the whole time cuddling her lovely fiancé!
