Speed-Drawing-Project: The Wretched of the Earth

Speed Drawing Project: The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon

This Summer, I had the chance to participate at a small yet quite exhausting drawing-project with the Austrian studio Nonplus Filmproduction which I already worked several times with. The whole idea was, if we could create something like those well known RSA Animation-videos found on Youtube or let's say, give it at least a try and look, which problems may occur on our way through that process. As this was our first attempt ever to do such a pseudo-live-drawing project, it naturally don't looks as perfect and clean as the example work, but in my opinion, it turned out quite fine.
The very thing that made this whole thing that exhausting was that I had to draw in some kinda impossible postures. That's why some lines may have turned out a bit inacurate or shaky. But ok, maybe, that's just me, critisizing my own stuff, I really hope you'll enjoy the result.
The video itself is a small summary of the life of the philosopher/ psychatrist/ revolutionary/ writer Frantz Fanon, who supported the independence-movements in post-colonial Algeria and his lifework 'The Wretched of the Earth' which became a major inspiration for latter anti-colonial liberation movements.
As you may notice, this whole thing is held in German, so I hope, my drawings help you understand, what's going on if you're not too much into this language.
