This work was inspired by abstract and abstract expressionism, I am particularly interested at the moment with creating artwork that pushes the boundaries of color. This work is very removed from my previous work which is very much about culture and people especially issues of feminisim and social issues. Artists like Ofili and Pollock are inspiring me throughout this work.
