Time marches on. Yesterday, Iwas in a local urgent care clinic. My problem was a thumb and tendon. I’mwith splint now and in “watch” mode for several days to see how time andimmobilization improves the situation. My best learning about time travelcame not from my predicament but from overhearing an older couple with healthprofessionals in a nearby room. She was in breathing distress, but okay. She was the patient, sort of, trying to get her story out. Her husbandtalked mostly about his problems, not hers. Comical and yet in time, say,20 years from now, I can hear myself doing the same. What else did Ilearn? You can travel in time by paying attention to now.
