I used the kirigami technique for the pop ups, so each page is made of a single sheet of paper which is cut and folded to create the pop up illusion.

The look and order of the spreads takes the reader on a journey through time and space.
The first spread is set in Ancient Egypt, in the morning.
The second is in London in the 1860s, in the afternoon.
And the third shows Tokyo in the 2000s, at night.

The format is an A4 page folded vertically. I wanted the book to have an unusual and fun shape as well as be able to accomodate the tall pop ups.
