This is a minimalist project for a concert of religious music at Notre-Dame de Paris (Mystic Hours in english), for the consortium of sacred music la Maitrise de Notre-Dame de Paris. The three rays of light are an evocation of the organ (especially when the one at the cathedral Notre-Dame is one of the biggest instrument in France) and their number is also meant to evocate the Holy Trinity.

Even if I'm a convinced atheist, I wanted to retrieve the feeling of spirituality with a simple but striking design. And I must admit, it's not simple to play it simple !

 

I'm still hesitating between those two versions. Don't hesitate to comment and let me know what you think about it !
