This poster was for a new comic released called It Came! ' A hilarious B-movie romp, a knowing throwback to the heyday of low-budget Sci-Fi cinema'. I thought a retro movie poster would be a nice addition to feature in the press release for this 1950's themed comic, so by cutting out characters from the actual first issue of the comic I created this. I put creases in the poster to make it have that 'old style, worn out' effect. I wanted everything about it to scream old-fashioned and added the credits for that extra movie poster effect. This got released to many comic websites to generate interest to this funny sci-fi comic.
