BOJA STOOL
Boja is an experimental stool made to learn the process of bending plywood by using glue. I decided to experiment with the form to allow user to take maximum advantage of bending process. This stool is more of an experiment. It is not the safest to sit on when it is just one chair as it sways, but it is fun. Two or more chairs can be combined together with a wooden dowel and then they are secured. After bending three layers of superform plywood, I cut the holes for securing the leather sitting belt, applied poplar veneer amd finished with beech dowel. I was going for a simple and minimalistic look. Also the chair can be used upside down aswell.
