About: A Personal Zine about the concept of fear.
Concept: F.D.R once said that "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself", and he's right. This zine is meant to illustrate the stages of fear and the illusion of impending danger, whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid. I made this zine as a way to cope with my own fears and insecurities.
One thing to note, this is a folded poster, so it starts off very small, but it will open up as a 24 x 36 poster.
Style: The aesthetics of the Zine starting on page one, are very clean and minimal, lack of color, small type, lots of negative space, but as you continue to open the Zine, the pages continue to grow in size, and the color red becomes more prominent, as does larger and grungier type with an inconsistent layout. This is done to convey the idea that fear is "growing", taking over, until there is nothing left but fear itself.
