Designed for the Lean & Green industrial design studio at RMIT. This micro car measures only 2500 x 1250mm (smaller than a Smart Fortwo) with 12" wheels. It was restricted to these dimensions, had to seat two people and was to be powered by a Yamaha WR450 motorcycle engine.
Within the class, 4 designs were selected to be made as 1:1 mockups for a sense of scale and space within the car. Most of the body panels were put through Autodesk's 123D Make software which generated the slot together pieces to be lazer cut from 3mm MDF.
