Aerosol Pulp: Ashcan Editions

During the golden age of comics, ashcan editions of comics were printed to establish copyright. They often went straight from the printer to the "ashcan". Today, ashcan editions refer to promotional issues, in the independent/self-publishing market. Often smaller than standard comic size. The term is synonymous with mini-comics or special limited-run variants.

These ashcan editions of the art in the Aerosol Pulp Series are 18x24 pieces, a quarter of the size and with color styles varied from the system you see in the main 36x48 pieces.

These original pieces are available for sale at www.etsy.com/shop/LeftyEyeball
