PostScript is a stationery boutique located on Campus Corner in Norman, Oklahoma. This unique shop was created by pastry chef & stationery enthusiast  Ashleigh Barnett, who owns & operates the popular bakery next door, Crimson & Whipped Cream. PostScript is meant to be a haven of paper for everyone in the community. From cards and stationery to planners, notepads, and paper-related gifts, this space will aim to promote the art of letter writing and snail mail.

The challenge with PostScript is that Ashleigh already had a strong community identity as the owner of Crimson & Whipped Cream, so we wanted to create something complimentary, but also strong enough to stand on it’s own, and communicate the aesthetic of the new space. The brand identity for PostScript is meant to imbue a vintage sensibility with modern touches. Ashleigh came to us with the name, and the perfect shade of mint green, and we created the rest.

We wanted a bright, fun, and inviting aesthetic, so we decided to put the audience in the driver’s seat by creating top down images that show the marriage of the two brands in action. Who doesn’t love to snack on cookies while typing a letter? Our photographer, Ethan Hickerson, took great pains to create the harmonious layouts and colors to perfectly match the brand palette. We look forward to the next phase of the website and sharing more images of the beautiful PostScript store and products.
