Black Struggle
For this design I used Photoshop. When doing this image I was feeling hopeless and angry. My design represents the black struggles people are going through during this time. I got my inspiration from Hannah Hoch who did a photomontage called “Mother.” She had done this photo to represent the war that was going on around 1915. In my design I put a line under the black power symbol that is red with represents the blood that has been shed over the years! It also has a photo of me in the background that I made look dark and angry. I used watercolor, I also used the circle to show how constricted the black are in the U.S. and how they are trying to break free to be equal. I feel like my design is deep and has a very power meaning.
