These series of book cover designs were for a Faber & Faber design competition for a selection of some of their titles. The fonts I created for this design was based on the grid I used to layout the elements. As you can see the fonts only have lowercase letters as to make it more legible. The inspiration I got for creating the fonts came from looking at previous works of a graphic designer and typographer named Wim Crouwel.
