"Angular" - A trestle table

Painting it with spray paint due to the limit of technology.
Letting it dry in the school backyard.
Gluing all the joints together.
Expanded mode of the modular pieces, held by metal joints.
A school project to design a steady and stable trestle to support a top table, regardless the material.
Me and my groupmate had a concept to design something that is easy to assemble and dissemble, flat packed, and easy to store. We came up with joining three module of wood plank with a joint system which can be joined into a triangular shape, that results in a very stable support.
Each module is only 1.6cm thick, hence makes the packing so flat, up to only 5cm in width!
The design aesthetic of this product is made like this to reduce the weight and provide space for the knees.
Due to the limit of the material and technology, we decided to use plywood and particleboard.
3D visual of the trestle.
3D concept for a big company. Uses metal aluminum and metal stamping to get a very thin yet stable pieces.
